Questions to talk about
Word for word
Mark: Sarah, can I ask you something honest? If someone feels like they've drifted too far, could God still want them?
Sarah: I've felt that. Listen to what Jesus says in Revelation 3:20.
Scripture: Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.
Mark: I always figured I'd have to clean myself up first before God would want anything to do with me.
Sarah: He's speaking to people who felt fine alone, and still says he loves them.
Mark: Honestly, I'm not sure what I'd do with that. It sounds good, but it feels big.
Sarah: Just talk to him honestly. It's grace, never being good enough. I'm still learning that.
Sarah: I love you, and I want you with me. Try saying, God, I want to know you.
